British Wildlife Photography Awards

Not having been the type of person to enter photographic competitions, I bit the bullet and entered the BWPA inaugural competition, 2009.
Imagine my surprise when I was called by the organisers and told that I'd been awarded a highly commended for my Mallard on a very still pond. This shot was taken in Norfolk whilst on a workshop with Chris Gomersall. I was delighted with the result and this has enthused me to enter other competitions in the future.
