Hi, I'm Nigel Snell, a Northern Ireland based photographer. I use Nikon equipment, D700 and D300 cameras, Nikon Lenses 600mm F4 VR11, 200-400F4 VR11, 70-200F2.8 VR, 24-70 F2.8, 105mm VR11 F2.8 Macro, Sigma 10-20mm F2.8
Wildlife photography, especially birds, is a great passion of mine. I was keenly interested in photography about 30 years ago, but work pressures meant that photography had to take a back seat. During the time since then, two daughters and a few job movements, I now seem to be able to spend more time in the pursuit of images of wild and captive birds.
I am also interested in photographing anything in the natural world and water sport.... In fact I just love taking photographs!
