I am pleased to be able to offer Wildlife Photography Tours of the Strangford Lough area, by boat and on land.
Boat tours depart from Portaferry and last for three hours, during which we will be able to see the birds and wildlife of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, from a different perspective.
Land based tours can be either half day or full day. These tours are very flexible in content but mainly consist of covering a number of different sites and habitats with the objective of photographing as many shore based birds as possible. Access to a vehicle for these tours is desirable, but not essential, as we share transport to move the short distances between sites.
Given that we will be trying to photograph wild birds in their environment, long telephoto lenses of 400-600 mm would be most useful, and warm waterproof clothing and footwear, essential.
